All you need for Learning to drive

About us

We have provided a friendly and relaxed environment in which to learn to drive for those people wishing to learn to drive in both manual and automatic cars, and are specialists in automatic driver training for those people who need us.

We use modern dual-controlled cars, with fully qualified instructors, who work within the guidelines provided by the Driving Standards Agency.

Based in Cambridgeshire, our driving lessons will be tailored to the Cambridge driving test centres, currently at Chesterton Road and Cowley Road. Both centres offer an equal opportunity to pass your test.

We welcome everyone to come and either learn to drive. Either from scratch, as you have just started, or come to us having had some experience. Good or bad we will help you get where you want to go.

Lessons will be structure to meet your needs after an introduction lesson of two hours. This is needed to assess your level and understand your needs. As well as for you to see if you like what you experience !.

We cater for hourly tuition and intensive courses, as well as Pass Plus and International driver training, all at times and days to suit you where possible.

With the right level of training at a price plan you can afford, our DSA approved driving instructors, will help you to become a safe and competent driver able to pass your driving test with confidence.

Your instructor

Your instructor will be fully qualified, tested and approved. Registered with the Driving Standards Agency, trained to the highest level, our instructors have helped many people to pass their driving test.

We recommend an Introduction lesson for two hours initially. This will allow you time to meet your instructor, try the car provided and see if you would like to embark on a course of learning with that person.

The instructor and their car should be available for your complete course, and on your test day, you will again have this support to rely upon.

Each instructor will be happy to discuss their check test grading, for ability to instruct you. They will also be happy for you to contact existing and past pupils should you wish.

Instructors are regularly tested by the DSA for their ability to instruct.

The minimum graded instructor provided will be grade four. Some have achieved grades five or six, however grade four is our current minimum level achieved and regarded as very acceptable. Remember, your instructor may be just like you, and not like tests, experience and the ability to get all types of people through their test is just as important.

Our instructors will provide lesson fact sheets, help with theory and the hazard perception parts of your tests. They will also train you to cope with the show me tell me parts of your practical test.
